Hi again, let's talk about presenting.
0:00
First, let's look at the options for
slide transitions.
0:04
This is the time to start thinking about
how you want to move from one slide
0:08
to another.
0:12
Click on Slide, then Change transition
to see what transitions are available.
0:13
Choose transitions that make sense for
0:21
your audience and
improve the overall presentation.
0:23
Take a minute to play with the transitions
and see if any stand out to you.
0:27
Next, below each slide is
an area to write notes.
0:34
This is a great place to put a script or
more detailed information, so
0:38
that your slides stay nice and neat.
0:42
And you can see these
notes when presenting.
0:45
Now, let's look at the presenting options,
clicking on Present in the upper right
0:49
hand corner will bring up the presentation
starting with your current slide.
0:53
To move between slides,
use the arrow keys on your keyboard,
1:00
Or simply click on the slide.
1:09
If you click on the drop down
next to the present button,
1:14
you will find the presenter's view.
1:18
This opens your presentation for
the audience and a version for yourself.
1:21
This will show you any
notes you have created.
1:27
The previous and next slides, and
1:33
also gives you a timer in case
you need to stick to a schedule.
1:36
There's also the Q&A function
found under Audience Tools.
1:42
This will give the audience the ability
to go to a site on a computer or
1:47
mobile device to submit questions to you.
1:51
You can show questions to
the audience by clicking Present,
1:56
And then stop by clicking Hide.
2:05
The audience has the ability to
thumbs up or down a question.
2:14
This way,
you know which questions are important.
2:18
To end the Q&A,
2:22
you can click on the toggle button
at the top of your Presenter view.
2:23
You now have the basics of using Google
Slides to make an excellent presentation.
2:31
Awesome.
2:36
I can't wait to see what you make.
2:38
Have fun.
