A typical software development team is made up of several different roles. In this final video, we'll go over common roles that form a development team, and other roles that developers could interact with in their day-to-day work.

So in this final video we'll go over what
a development team might look like and

some of the roles developers can
interact with and their day to day work.

First, JavaScript developers or most
developers commonly fall under two roles,

junior developer and senior developer.

A junior developer is usually how new
developers get their foot in the door.

They likely won't be setting up and coding
a project end to end or work from scratch

right away, rather they'll usually
contribute to existing code bases.

They'll often learn the ropes by fixing
bugs and adding additional features and

functionality to existing projects.

Now a senior developer has
more responsibilities and

usually contributes more to a project.

Most importantly senior developers

project developers often work along side

For example, an architect is typically
a senior technical role responsible for

and the skills to know what's possible and

They might decide on what tools will

And a software development manager is
someone who usually keeps the development
