Hi, I get this Error when I Activate ACF qTranslate plugin in WordPress. Anyone knows why? I have asked the author of the plugin at WordPress Support forum, but nobody answered so far.

Hello, Jenny, Thanks for the links. I've checked them all. But I feel that things I would need to do are too complicated for me. Besides, I have discovered Polylang which seems to do things that I need - that is translate custom post fields. So I will not use lACF qTranslate any more. Nevertheless, thanks for your effort, Maja

I've never heard of Polylang and will have to check it out! It's been some time since I used the IAFC qTranslate so I'm excited to see what's new on the language plugins front. :-)

Hi, Jenny, Now I've figured out how to translate a WordPress site with the qTranslate X plugin. In my opinion it works much better than Polylang, a plugin that I've mentioned above.

Namely qTranslate X keeps only one page and enables you to translate that page in several languages, while Polylang starts from the original page and creates a new page for every single language you translate that page to. So, with Polylang you are soon lost in a huge amount of duplicated pages.

In this post https://teamtreehouse.com/forum/how-do-you-translate-advanced-custom-fields I explain how to translate with qTranslate X, if you are interested.
