5,258 PointsYour label should be before the select
<form action="index.html" method="post">
<h1>Shirt Order Form</h1>
<label for="color">Shirt Color:</label>
<select id="color" name="shirt_color">
<option value="red">Red</option>
<option value="yellow">Yellow</option>
<option value="purple">Purple</option>
<option value="blue">Blue</option>
</select>
</form>
I'm pretty sure there's a few more color option (green and orange) your suppose to add if it doesn't let you go through after changing that.

11,715 PointsI was making this same mistake, too. But my logic in placing it after the select tag was that it wouldn't know what ID to reference if it hadn't yet been declared . Maybe I am thinking of how CSS renders a page, or does HTML not use this same logic.
