Adding elements to arrays , the method shown is not applicable

why is it that at times, we are shown a method by our treehouse instructors that is not accepted by the quiz? This costs us valuable time we dont have... >:(

It does actually work. You should add the elements to the same array, like this:

  $movie = ["title" => "The Empire Strikes Back"];
?>
