adding static jpg and png to Wordpress theme.

In the Wordpress Theme development course, the static templates that the theme is built out from, has social icons at the bottom of all the pages. How to add these into the theme isn't covered or done in the course, as far as I can see. If anyone's got any advice on how to do this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi Gabriel,

This can be done however you'd like but one option would be to use the Customizer. The WordPress Customizer API course will give you an idea how to do this.

Another option would be to simply using a Sidebar containing a text widget. These are just options but all the details for how to do this are found in the links above.
