Advance Custom fields Plugin

HI Guys, I'm learning how to build a WordPress theme from scratch and I got stuck on [ Adding Custom Content to the site] I had installed the Advance Custom Theme Plugin but I don't see it on the dashboard. I can see others plugins I just install but not this one. Any clue where I can find it? Thanks a lot.

For me it always installs a new menu item just below the settings tab. It's called "Custom Fields". Make sure you are downloading the correct one. There are a ton of Advance Custom Fields add-on plugins that can be downloaded to. You need to make sure you have the core plugin. That can be found here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/

You should use meta boxes Carlos, shout me on Skype.

Can't remember the article but it was from WordPress and there was something about custom fields not working as well as meta boxes. Meta boxes are super easy to set up and are much nicer to use.
