Dear Wordpres,
You are no longer the biggest piece of crap going. That causes me to want to throw my mac out of the window. Now I have some understanding of the world of Wordpress I have made a lovely CMS product where my client has enough control and enough restraint from me that they dont break it too much.
You are indeed my bestest friend in development land today.

7,625 Points@Graham - I can't tell you how many times I've cursed WordPress. Keep up the good fight!

5,239 PointsMy biggest gripe with wordpress is the incomplete way in which plugins are managed. It makes it hard to get an upgrade-safe plugin workflow since you can't rely on extended an OO plugin class in every case.
It makes it quite difficult to get the level of functionality you want first time.

4,902 PointsI actually love Wordpress. Sure the plugin management might not be great. But it's a heck of a lot better than it was just a few years ago. There's a reason it's the most popular CMS platform today.
