Any reason why a function wouldn't be used?

function createBlogPost(arr) {
  let blogPost = '';

  for ( let i = 0; i < arr.length; i++ ) {
    blogPost += `
      <h2>${arr[i].name}</h2>
      <h3>${arr[i].type} | ${arr[i].breed}</h3>
      <p>Age: ${arr[i].age}</p>
      <img src='${arr[i].photo}' alt='${arr[i].breed}'>
    `;
  }
    return blogPost;
}

let html = createBlogPost(pets);

document.querySelector('main').innerHTML = html;

Above is my solution to the challenge, any feedback on why or why not to use a function is greatly appreciated?

Thanks in advance.
