Any suggestions on combining a Wordpress blog with an e-commerce plugin (Shopify)?

Hey Everyone,

I am looking to create a Wordpress blog website but also sell some merchandise goodies.

Appreciate any suggestions about how to go about incorporating a blog with an e-commerce plugin (probably Shopify)...

Are there any treehouse courses to check that could help me out?

Any suggestion/guideline would help :)

Hi there,

I really like using woocommerce, it's free and really easy to set-up using paypal as your payment gateway. You can add all sorts of easy to use plugins to suit your needs and desires. It will simply plug straight into a wordpress theme creating the necessary pages and code for you.

I'm not familiar with shopify so I can't comment on that, but be sure to check out woocommerce and its capibilities. Here is the link to get you started

Shopify does have a plugin for WordPress, but it's more a widget to display your Shopify products on a WordPress site, not managing products from within WordPress.

We have a WooCommerce course coming out this week that you will probably want to check out.
