C# ASP.NET MVC Basics Modeling and Presenting Data Using Strongly Typed Views

asp.net

Update the Detail.cshtml view to be a strongly typed view. Add a model directive to strongly type the view using the Treehouse.Models.VideoGame data model type. Replace the ViewBag Title, Description, and Characters property references with the respective Model properties.

It looks like you did a little bit too much.

The <h5> headers were originally plain text, with no Viewbag references. But you removed one and added a Model property to the other, neither of which was asked for by the challenge.

still i get an error message

Be sure both h5 tags are back to their original state. One was missing entirely, the other was modified.

@model Treehouse.Models.VideoGame

@{ Model.DisplayText = "Video Game Detail"; }

<h1>@Model.Title</h1>

<h5>Description:</h5> <div>@Model.Description</div>

<h5>Characters:</h5> <div> <ul> @foreach (var character in Model.Characters) { <li>@character</li> } </ul> </div>

Did you remove the 'ViewBag.Title' property assignment to 'Video Game Detail'?

i dnt get this now

now i got the answer.. thank you @Steven Parker
