3,209 PointsBackground colors? Why you no go away?
My page has orange background behind the text links in the header and body ... I tried adding a screen shot here to help , but don't know that it's visible. My code is below. Can anyone tell me why there would be orange background colors still?
<!DOCSTYLE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Adan Huerta | Web Designer/Musician/Boxer</title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"> <link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400,400italic,700,700italic,800|Changa+One' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css"> <style> nav a { color: white; background-color: transparent; }

231,248 PointsYour code links to a CSS stylesheet (css/main.css). I expect that the orange color is being applied by that stylesheet.
By the way, it's good practice to keep ALL your styles in the stylesheet file.

3,209 PointsI went through the my main css file and took out anything I could see that was changing it orange. Strangely, I noticed that none of my style changes are applying to my main page (index.html), only the contact and about files are being affected by my css. I even tried changing the code in index.html to add more images and it's not having any effect. Not sure what's going on here...
