Do we market the product before it is launched or after it is launched?

One can definitely begin developing a marketing strategy and implementing it before a finalized product is launched. Simply keep in mind customers may be disappointed if promises are made and unable to be kept. A coming soon or Q and A area about the product would make most sense.
