I'd recommend you do the courses in this order:

  1. How to Make a Wordpress Blog
  2. Build a Simple Website
  3. HTML Foundations
  4. CSS Foundations
  5. Build a Simple PHP Application
  6. How to Build a Wordpress Theme
  7. Database Foundations

It all depends on your endgame.

What is the ProSite going to be focused on?

Depending on your goals and objectives one may suggest a different path.

At minimum if you're going to be using WordPress I would have a core understanding of HTML / CSS.

If you're unclear of the direction business/wise you want to go in I would start with some Business modules.

If you want to be a WordPress expert then you need to learn HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP, mySQL and then WordPress. It will take you 6 months at least to get somewhere near being able to build really professional sites and have the confidence to be able to do absolutely anything that's asked of you. That's if you have an inherent talent for coding and are committed to learning.

The best way to learn is to do, build your own site alongside the videos etc. It's what I did, I built smells like bakin and a site of my own as I followed each topic.

I would go through the learning track for Web Design. It covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and some Business Principles.

Here's the link. http://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/web-design

i tried the track but i really do not get the first part which is build a simple site due to it moves too fast plus i want to also konw wordpress for blogging and how to develop for it

There's a track on learning wordpress. Learn html and css.

Also the freelance track would be great.

You probably already saw these tracks but thought I'd chime in!
