Best way to run multiple wordpress sites

So I am still pretty new to this whole thing so I just have a question about running multiple sites. I have my website that I am running which is the one I have already installed. But I also want to start a website for my brothers photography. So I signed up for webhostingforstudents with the plan that gives me three domain names. I did the 1 click wordpress install through cpanel. So should I do the multi network wordpress install, or is there another better way of doing this?

Ask yourself if you really need multisite, the only real advantage is that you can manage users/plugins from one central location across sites. Beyond that, there really is no reason to run a MU WordPress install. The real use case for MU is when you have multiple blogs that share similar users with specific roles that you want to administer from one Admin Panel.

Personally, I would just install the site on its own Cpanel. There are several plugins out there that can give you the ability to update WordPress and plugins across multiple sites, which would still give you some of MU's flexibility without having to deal with all the downsides of multisite.

Awesome! That's kind of what I figured, how would I go about doing that though?

It looks like they do sub-domain installs for Add On domains. So you'll make a folder that will be the site's root within your public_html folder. For example this could be public_html/new-sites-folder. Then you'll create an addon domain using Cpanel:
