Congrats on the new site! I'm seeing that red line glitch as well. A small suggestion may be to remove some of the padding in the header since it's tough to see the full slider and content in the fold. Looks great though!

Still have a long list of things to mock up in css, php + pages and ways to go till site is completely functional. The header is completely coded faulty (wrong, I know) I just wanted to visually see where I would place the logo.

Notes on parts of my long list of what needs to be fixed

// fix navigation controls prev next // fix bypostauthor in php // make site touch screen // fix comments + gravatar // fix scroll to top // make header-logo responsive + hover on logo // loop pagnation in php // add social icons // re-style accordion ...

Question (opinion/preference): Say, I wanted to build up the wp theme into a larger extended website which would be wiser :

a. manually hard code & add files to php, etc b. mock up website through POD via a shortcode added to pages with the risk of content on a different database?

Thanks for the feedback.
