this works for me in PyCharm Python3:
backwards = [ 'tac', 'esuoheerT', 'htenneK', [5, 4, 3, 2, 1], ]
def reverse(list): return list[::-1]
forwards = list(map(reverse, backwards))
why it doesn't pass the test here?
backwards = [
'tac',
'esuoheerT',
'htenneK',
[5, 4, 3, 2, 1],
]
def reverse(list):
return list[::-1]
forwards = list(map(reverse, backwards))

56,413 PointsThe challenge just wants you to use map() but doesn't ask that forwards be a list:
forwards = map(reverse, backwards)
