Bummer: You need to declare a `profitPerUnit` variable and assign it a math operation. Help please!!

const wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;

const quantity = 47;

const salesTotal = retailPrice * quantity;

const profit = salesTotal - wholesalePrice * quantity;

const profitPerunit = profit / quantity;

Hi James,

Pay special attention to the variable name they want you to use and remember that capitalization matters -- profitPerunit is not the same as profitPerUnit. Everything else looks good to me :)

Thanks, the little things are hard to keep up with. I capitalize the 'U' and it work. Thanks again.

Hi James!

Your main issue is that the u in unit was lowercase.

This passes all three tasks:

const wholesalePrice = 5.45;
const retailPrice = 9.99;
const quantity = 47;

const salesTotal = retailPrice * quantity;

const profit = salesTotal - wholesalePrice * quantity;

const profitPerUnit = profit / quantity; // Notice the uppercase U

(An easy typo to miss!?!)
