Call the hello_student() function and save the return value to a variable called hello.

um stuck, help please

You almost had it. The ‘Hello’ in the return string needed an uppercase ‘H’ though...

def hello_student(name):
    return "Hello " + name

It helps if you remember the space after "Hello " when you return the function. That's what helped me finish this challenge
