Can I use custom fields/post types on WP using the one click install?

Hi, as I'm going though the WordPress course I hit a subject I'm a little stumped by. I have installed the Plugins - CPT UI & Custom Fields as suggested, all activated and working updated with my details as I followed along with Zac. Then he zipped over to files he had on his Mac and I got lost. I used the one click install so these files I dont have on my pc, is it at all possible to use custom fields/post types using the one click install?? If so please help as I've searched High and Low .. ???

Thanks Craig

It is possible but you'd have to access your wordpress files from your webserver. It's usually in your public_html directory if you have ftp access.

Would this be using CPanel ?

Yep, but if you're going to be actively developing the site it's best to look into using https://cyberduck.io or an equivalent. It's better to setup a local development server but your wordpress installation is live.

Great help David ill have a look into that and get cracking thanks again!!

No prob. I'm here to help.
