Can someone please help me. I have been debugging this for hours

I follow the code but I getting an error... The developer tool telling me on line 17 there is the unexpected token " { " but is as in the code by the autor.. and I can't find the bug :(

Can someone see it ??? I am clueless

var correctGuess = false; var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * 6 ) + 1; var guess = prompt('I am thinking of a number between 1 and 6. What is it?'); if (parseInt(guess) === randomNumber ) { correctGuess = true;

} else if (parseInt(guess) < randomNumber ) { var guessMore = prompt("Try again. The number I am thinking of is more than " + guess);

if (parseInt(guessMore) === randomNumber) { correctGuess = true; } } else if (parseInt(guess) > randomNumber ) { var guessLess = prompt('Try again. The number I am thinking of is less then ' + guess);

if(parseInt(guessLess) === randomNumber { correctGuess = true; } } if ( correctGuess ) { document.write('<p>You guessed the number!</p>'); } else { document.write('<p>Sorry. The number was ' + randomNumber + '.</p>'); }

For us to be able to identify "line 17" you must format your code with Markdown. Instructions can be found in the Markdown Cheatsheet pop-up below the "Add an Answer" area. :arrow_heading_down:   Or watch this video on code formatting.

It's tough to spot unformatted, but near the end there is this statement:

if(parseInt(guessLess) === randomNumber { correctGuess = true; }

There's a missing closing parenthesis after the conditional clause and before the code block.

I had to rewrite the code again and it worked... Thanks anyway :) Happy coding
