JavaScript JavaScript Basics Working with Strings Combine and Manipulate Strings

Challenge is still prompting for space between first & last name. What else am I missing?

app.js
let firstName = "Whitney";
let lastName = "Ashley";
let role = 'developer';
let msg = '${firstName} ${lastName}: ${role.toUpperCase()}';

Jordan is correct; you're using single quotes (' ') vs. backticks () to turn that string in msg into a "Literal String". Change those into ticks and it should work for you.]

Thanks, Jordan. - Whitney, good luck!

It looks like you are using single quotes '' instead of backticks `` to the left of the 1 button on your keyboard.
