9,626 PointsChallenge not working?
It keeps saying: "make sure you're writing the code in the .content declaration. Am I missing something? This is my code: .content { color: white; background: black; transition-duration: 1s; transition-property: background, color; }
.invert:checked ~ .content { color: #fff; background: #373737; }
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.content {
color: white;
background: black;
transition-duration: 1s;
transition-property: background, color;
}
.invert:checked ~ .content {
color: #fff;
background: #373737;
}

231,248 PointsYou did a bit more than the task asked for.
Task 1 says: "Write a declaration that will transition only the color and background values of .content."
Note that it doesn't say anything about setting intial color or background values, just to write the code needed to transition them.
That hint given with the "Bummer" message is a bit misleading.
