The task is as follows:
Great! Sometimes I have other attributes I need to store on a Student instance, though. Can you use **kwargs and setattr to add attributes for any other key/value pairs I want to send to the instance when I create it?
I have done exactly what is asked of me based on the code from the video. I have literally copied it directly from the video. I have been stuck on this for over an hour and feel like I'm going crazy. Is there a typo I'm not seeing?? It would be great if the feed back was something other than "Bummer: Try again!" I mean, seriously how does that help me??
If anyone can assist me, I would greatly appreciate it.
class Student:
def __init__(self, name, **kwargs):
self.name = name
for key,value in kwargs.items():
setattr(self, key, value)
def praise(self):
return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)
def reassurance(self):
return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)
def feedback(self, grade):
if grade > 50:
return self.praise()
return self.reassurance()

Did you try closing and reloading the challenge? I just copied and pasted your code above into the challenge and it passed.
Cheers

7,641 PointsAlex, Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I had refreshed/reloaded the challenge page multiple times, but I never actually closed it and re-opened. I did as you suggested and now the challenge has been passed. How frustrating! That's over an hour of my life I'll never get back. I thought I was losing my mind. Thanks so much for the prompt feedback. Cheers my friend.
