Challenge Task 3 of 3 for Introduction to HTML and CSS is not working

I keep typing in <a href= "#top"> go back to the top of the page.</a> which is setting an anchor tag but it keeps saying it's wrong?

you have a syntax error, you have a opening <a> tag and outside of it you types href="#top">

<a> href="#top">

should be like this

<a href="#top">

and i noticed now that you have a syntax error with the <img>

<img src="images/spain.jpg"<img alt="A picture of me in Spain">

should be 

<img src="images/spain.jpg" alt="A picture of me in Spain">
