CIRCULUS.SVG in WordPress

I found a nice way of making menu with css and svg http://sarasoueidan.com/tools/circulus/. Problem is that I'd like this menu be in WordPress site and WordPress doesn't take well svg. For example the svg files can't be loaded to the media library because of security issue and svg inline tags seems to disappear if switching from text editor to visual editor.

What do you suggest for me to do to be able to have the circulus menu in my wordpress? Make an plugin? Edit the function.php file? Would you suggest me to just ignore SVG in wordpress and do something similar menu structure with tools that are supported in WordPress?
