Closing a file in Python

The current task is:

"Now close the file so it does not take up memory"

For some reason calling close on the file object is not enough for this quiz... what am I doing wrong?

basics.py 
file_object = open("basics.txt", "r")
data = file_object.read()
file_object.close()
