PHP Build a Basic PHP Website (2018) Adding a Basic Form Working with Post Variables

Closing out <?php ?> Tags

I'm a little confused. In an earlier lesson Alena mentions that it is recommended not to close out the php tags using ?>

but here she does? What am I missing?

It's entirely up to you really.

If your file has HTML embedded in the PHP file along with the PHP then you should probably use a closing PHP block.

If your file has multiple PHP blocks in it, then obviously you need to close each one.

But if you have a file with one large block of PHP code in a single file then you can safely omit the closing PHP block code. :)
