Contact Information Prior to Download

Hi all, I'm looking for a Plugin or a form that can be created within a Page that allows me to collect user details (name & email) prior to letting them download a PDF document.

I've seen Plug-ins like "Email before Download" but it requires Contact Form 7 which I'm not a fan of, and I currently use MailChimp.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can definitely set something up with Gravity Forms, but I don't know if this is possible with the free version of GF.

Another thing you could do is put the download on a page that can only be accessed by users that are logged in. Put on the page: "You must be logged in to view this content. Register now." Forcing them to register would give you their email address.

Thanks Colin Marshall I'm also looking at AWeber but will work through the registered users piece you mentioned. Does Wordpress accommodate this style easily?

You would need a plugin to do it, but it looks very easy and flexible. Something like this free plugin would work:

WP-Members

Then you can find a plugin that will sync your Mailchimp/AWeber lists with your WordPress users. There are a few out there.
