Inside the jQuery each() method, use prepend() to add an '<input type="checkbox"/>' to the beginning of each list item. Use the this keyword, so the callback function doesn't need any arguments. $('.favorite-things li').each(function() { // Write code here const input = $(this).attr('<input type="checkbox"/>'); $(this).prepand(input); });

<h2>My Favorite Things</h2>
<ul class="favorite-things">
<li>Kittens</li>
<li>Rainbows</li>
<li>Unicorns</li>
<li>Sprinkles</li>
</ul>
<script
src="jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
$('.favorite-things li').each(function() {
// Write code here
const input = $(this).attr('<input type="checkbox"/>');
$(this).prepand(input);
});

231,261 PointsThe instructions say to "use prepend()" but the code here has "prepand" (with an "a") instead.
Also, the HTML code for the input can't be used as an attribute name in the ".attr" method. But you don't need to do anything separately with it anyway. The HTML string can be supplied direclty as the argument to the "prepend" method.
