PHP Flash Messages with The Slim Framework

Could you please title flash for Slim 2? I just paid $25 to view how to add flash messages but I am working in Slim 3.

I have flash semi working in Slim 3. I googled Flash Slim 3 to get a better idea of how to use flash inside of Slim. This tutorial came up and I debated reactivating my membership or not. I figured I could because I would definitely learn something. I started the video and was told to look at the docs in SLIM 2. It says to add middleware. Slim 3 doesn't use middleware for flash. So now I'm no further than I was 10 minutes ago and I'm out $25.
