header span {
font-size: 26px;
}
You don't the dot in front of header because it is not a class and span should be added after "header" and before the brackets because that's what you're targeting.

11,299 PointsYou need to keep the span outside of your curlies...and you do not want a period in front of header because header is an element, not a named class within the element.

25,237 PointsFirstly, you are using a class selector for header. Since it is an html element you should write 'header' without the fullstop in front. Secondly, you've put the last part of the selector within the curly braces. The span should go alongside header, separated by a space ie header span { }
