6,737 PointsCreate a descendant selector that targets the span inside the header element. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Not sure what I am doing wrong, I re-watched the video and tried experimenting with a few things. Is there something simple I am missing? I also tried giving the header a class attribute
<header class="main-header">
and the css:
.main-header span{ font- size:26px; }
But this experiment didn't work either.
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
header span {
font-size:26px;}

54,971 PointsDelete the extra space between header and span and you should be good
Piotr Manczak
Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 29,363 Pointsthere should be a dot.
.header span {}
also, if you've given that element class named main-header you have to use as such:
.main-header span {}

Treehouse Project ReviewerIn your style.css, you have two spaces between your two selectors, try and remove one of them and see if it works.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 29,363 Pointslisten up, I just passed that. It was like that: header span { font-size: 26px; }
There should be one space between header and span also one space between : and 26. Try now.

Treehouse Project ReviewerIt should be what you said actually, the space after the colon between the property and value
Piotr Manczak
Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 29,363 PointsThe last brackets should be below font-size: 26px;
Jamie Reardon
Treehouse Project ReviewerThis actually doesn't matter
