Not sure why i can't progress from here. I have put the code in the workspace and it is fine but it doesn't like it.
def square(number):
return (pow(number,2))
number = int(input("What number do you want to square? "))
total = square(number)
print ("{}".format(total))

231,271 PointsThe challenge just wants the code to "call your new function and pass it the argument 3.". It doesn't expect you to input anything.
It also asks you to store the result in a variable named "result " (instead of "total"). Plus, you don't need to print anything.
