Creating a descendant selector

I'm trying to target the span inside the header element but I am missing a step somewhere. I can't see it. Where do I add the property?

the browser does not recognise the span element because you have the word font size in the tag. manipulate the font size in the CSS.

As Alastair said, take out the font-size attribute. It should plainly read

<span>Journey through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
