Creating sliders

What's the easiest way to create a slide show on my home page in wordpress. An easy coding way or perfect plugin suggestion would be create( tried a few plugins but not working well). Thanks

I like WooSlider from WooCommerce. We also show how to build one from scratch in our How to Build a WordPress Theme project.

I did follow along with that video but for some reason It didn't work. Might have got the code wrong. But where I am wrong I can't tell. Or might have put it in the wrong place. Please a code and where to put it in my code files would be very grateful

There's millions of plugins out there, maybe a few less. I use LayerSlider. It's very very good, works well and is $15 or less for a site subscription.

You could build a jquery slider of your own but it's pointless with the likes of LayerSlider about.
