CRUD with the wordpress options table

Can't find the answer to this question: To write to and update our plugin information in the database we use the __________ function I tried "add_option" and "update_option". Someone would have the answer?

Okay, first off, please DON'T ask for or post actual answers, rather direct people to correct answers :)

Second, please try the question again. You're in the right direction, I think there might have been a bug with the question.

Thank you it works now. I apologize for the answers given. I think there has the same problem for question number 3 of the quiz and the quiz: "Parsing json with php quiz."
