Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font-weight and an italic font style.

I did target the span class="span1">

In css I write it like this:

.intro, .span1 { font-weight: bold; font-style; italic; }

Or I have tried this: .span1 { font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; }

Hi Toni,

There's no need to add a class to your span element. You only need to append it to the intro class in your CSS like this:

main.css
.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
  line-height: 1.6;
}

.intro span {
 font-weight: bold;
 font-style: italic;
}

Thanks Michael ! ;-)
