Custom Post Type theme from inside a plugin

Hi,

I want to create a custom post type plugin with a template files built in.

Just like WooCommerce does that it has the product and all the theme files ready and anyone can overwrite it with his theme.

How do I create a template only for the custom post type part and leave all the other theme design intact without changing the header / footer / sidebar (again like WooCommerce does)

I know I can add special files in the theme for the specific post type but the product is going to be commercial product and we want that it will have his own basic themes files inside.
