Python Dates and Times in Python (2014) Dates and Times Timedelta Minute

can someone please help me with this slump im facing

minutes.py

def minutes(datetime, timedelta):
    seconds = timedelta.total_seconds()
    return round(seconds * 60)

Hey Kennedy Malonga, the form is there but there are a few errors in your code.

  • The function parameters should expect two datetime objects.
    • It is not a good practice to name parameters the same as imported modules. :point_right: don't use "datetime" as a variable name. Try using dt1 and dt2
  • subtracting these two datetime objects results in a timedelta object. It is this result that will have the total_seconds attribute
  • divide by 60 to get the minutes
