Displaying Custom Posts and Fields in a Template

When I'm at around the 5:00 mark. I realized I hadn't added descriptions to my projects. I went to go back and do it, I went to custom fields and rather than have names like "description" which I set, they have names like: field_525f24fb4f4fc

There are also fields like: 'hide_on_screen', 'layout', 'position', rule' which I don't recall us adding.

I believe I've set up the custom fields correctly, why would this be happening?

Thanks!
