Do you see the flicker in WrodPress?

Hi,

I've just done a basic install of WordPress for a client at:

http://ebookproofeditandformat.com/

In FireFox the site switching between page and posts with no problems.

But in Internet Explorer, and occasionally Chrome there's an annoying flicker, or you could call it a flash of the entire page.

I've had this problem a few times with WordPress over the past few months. At first I thought it was Genesis, but now it's happening again with the default themes.

It's driving me crazy, anyone else seeing the flicker on IE, Chrome or FF?

And any idea why this is happening again?

Your feedback is VERY much appreciated. :)

Kerry

Normally I would say this has to do with things loading on the page, but as you don't really have anything that's strange you're getting it. I was not able to duplicate the issue, but did Google flash on page load WordPress or related terms and did see some people having the problem, but it was usually related to content being displayed or specific JS issues. Sorry can't help more!

thanks Zac.

Yup, I'm baffled too becuase it's a brand new install.

Interesting to hear you wasn't able to duplicate the issue. Which browsers did you test it in?

Wonder if it's a probelm with my internet, although I can't see that being the cause. :)

Do all installs on that apache server suffer the same issue? if so, maybe the hosting is the culprit. You may setup a site on my hosting system if you need a basis of comparison?
