dont know whats wrong with this code : It should reduce the fuel remaining by length multiplied by 0.125.

dont actully understand the question i guess :)

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0
    def __init__(self,color,fuel_remaining,**kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key,value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self,key,value)

        def run_lap(self,length):
                fuel_remaining = ( fuel_remaining - lenght) * 0.125
                laps += 1

Here's a few hints:

  • you want to reduce the fuel by the multiplied value
  • you spelled "lenght" instead of "length"
  • be careful to be consistent with indentation

u mean like this you want to reduce the fuel by the multiplied value

fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining - ( length * 0.125 )

Good, but also don't forget the "self." prefix for instance variables.

this is my final code i did try to add the prefix to the attributes length still the same kinda sucks : no idea

You do need those prefixes, and that's all you need yet for this code to pass the challenge.
