  ^(?P<email>[-\w.+]+@[-\w\d.]+),\s
  (?P<phone>\d{3}-\d{3}-\d{4})$
''', string, re.X|re.M)

Shouldn't that regexp work to get the emails and phone numbers? I know I'm missing to remove the spaces and whatnot but right now it just returns NONE and that's what I Want to fix first

Hi John, actually the start '^' and end '$' characters are redundant, since you already stated it is a re.MULTILINE. Remove them and it will be fine
