7,414 PointsError with code?
Whats wrong with this code? The output isn't showing anything and the playground on Xcode isn't showing any errors either.
struct Expense {
var description: String
var amount: Double = 0.0
var item: String
init (description: String, item: String) {
self.description = "description"
self.item = "item"
amount = 100
}
// add the calculateTaxes method here
// it should accept only one parameter named 'percentage' of type Double
func calculateTaxes (percentage: Double) -> Double {
return (self.amount * (percentage/100))
}
}

16,771 PointsIn your code, you're setting "self.description" and "self.item" to the wrong strings. Set them to the values being passed to the init function, which happen to be strings as well.
self.description = description
self.item = item

7,414 Points''' struct Expense { var description: String var amount: Double = 0.0 var item : String
} '''
I tried this code and now it still doesn't work either. The console doesn't give me any errors either.
