Exception: feedback() takes 1 positional argument but 2 were given Restart

I am not sure where I am going wrong with the feedback method.

first_class.py 
class Student:
    name = "Your Name"

    def praise(self):
        return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)

    def reassurance(self):
        return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)

    def feedback(grade):
        if grade>50: 
            return praise(self)
        else: 
            return reassurance(self)

A few hints:

  • every instance method takes "self" as a first argument (plus any others it needs).
  • when calling a method in the same class, preface the name with "self."
  • you don't normally pass "self" explicitly as an argument (the class handles that)

Thank you! I don't exactly understand why self has to be used like in self.praise, but I am seeing that I have to.

I believe it's necessary to reference the instance to call the instance method on it. Apparently Python doesn't have an implied context inside the class as some other languages do.
