If we publish this app wouldn't we use an environment variable for the key. I definitely don't want it on Github. How would we set and use an environment variable with Android Studio?

But, you can add your file where is your key in .gitignore.

when I tried this apiKey
became null
. Does anybody know the answer of this question? Please help @bendeitch @benjakuben
