Finally, add a # symbol and lastName in uppercase to the end of the userName string. The final value of userName is "231

You're getting close, but there's a few issues to fix:

  • you should only declare a variable once, the first two lines with "userName" in them can be removed
  • you have "toUppercase" (with a little "c") instead of "toUpperCase" (with capital "C")
  • when calling a function or method, there must be parentheses after the function name
  • there should not be a semicolon in the middle of the line (only at the end)
  • you need to add a "#" symbol between the upper-cased id and lastName
