A "<span> element with the class "title"" wouldn't be selected by "span title" — that would select a "title" element this is inside of a "span". The correct selector would be "span.title" (note the period and no space).

Also, the instructions didn't mention filtering the selector using the header, so you don't need that portion at all. But if you did want to include it, it should not have a period in front since it is a tag name and not a class.

Your selector is wrong. The challenge asks you to select the <span> element with class title. You just need to use the class selector to select the span, there is no need for descendant selectors.
