From Local Host Wordpress to One Click install from GoDaddy, best way to get my theme, content with plugins and so on?

Hi everyone!

I have been developing my site now for a while locally and finally purchased my domain and got my hosting through a one click install.

Before I jump in with both feet I am just wondering what the best way to go about transferring my data to the live server would be.

I have used specific plugins and it is a custom theme that I will need t then make a child theme of.

I have never done this before so have no idea on what is best.

Thanks Craig

This is a very helpful article on taking your WordPress site from a local development server to a live environment: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-from-local-server-to-live-site/
